So with the release of the iPhone 4 in 2010 as usual the speculation and anticipation of the next apple phone was quickly mounting with the public. iPhone 5? 4GS? Nobody knew for sure but everybody liked to guess. Apple and rumours go hand in hand prior to release, there were claims that the iPhone 4 glass rear case would be ditched and a completely new all aluminum or stainless steel back would take its place incorporating a new antennae. Perhaps Apple would release a low-tech approach to the phone or maybe a nano phone, which worried technophiles, as components would surely be sacrificed and prices lower so that any one could be a part of the iPhone club.

Is all of this enough of an advance for the iPhone user? Probably not- as for most of us the exciting release of a new iPhone only marks the beginning of a long and speculative wait for the next.
